Melt Preparation
Plastic pellets are heated and melted in the barrel, forming a uniform molten mixture before injection.
Injection Molding
The molten plastic is injected into the closed mold cavity under high pressure to fill all features of the part.
Pressure Holding and Cooling
Holding pressure prevents shrinkage as the plastic cools and solidifies, forming its final dimensions.
Demolding and Part Removal
After cooling, the mold opens and ejects the finished part for inspection or downstream assembly.
